Abstract

The topic of the Recovered Territories was a significant, albeit not the most prominent, theme in emigrant journalism in the 1940s. Although it was practically written about in all refugee newspapers and magazines, unfortunately, in the subject literature, especially in press studies, this fact only gains its proper place (see further). The intention of the author of this article is to fill this gap. It’s also worth noting that “Polska Walcząca” has not received proper analysis, and the available works mainly cover the years 1939–1945. Hence, it’s valuable to recall, even in the form of a rough outline, this period and the post-war history.
