Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze the conditions of seasonal changes in the average gross salary in the enterprise sector in Poland. Was to determine the level and tendency of seasonal changes in salary as well as their distribution during the year. The object of the analyzes was to compare seasonal fluctuations in the NACE sections. The study uses GUS data on average salaries in the total enterprise sector and selected NACE sections for the period from 01.2010. until 12.2016. To separate seasonal component CENSUS X12 procedure was used. The results show that the seasonal average salary in the enterprise sector in Poland is low. The distribution of seasonal salary fluctuations in the enterprise sector during the year in Poland and in selected sections of NACE is similar, the difference concerns the amount of the fluctuation amplitude.
