Central European Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine

Central European Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine (CEJSSM) (Print ISSN 2300-9705; e-ISSSN 2353-2807) is an open access scientific quarterly journal (CC-BY-SA license), published in March, June, September and December. The journal does not charge a publication/submission fee. CEJSSM publishes previously unpublished original research papers on the topics including but not limited to sport sciences and medicine. The journal currently has the following sections: Original Research, Review Article, Case Studies, and Short Communication. All articles published in these sections are indexed and peer-reviewed.
Manuscripts with an interdisciplinary perspective with specific applications to sport and exercise and its interaction with health will also be considered. CEJSSM also publishes abstracts from international and national congresses, panel meetings, conferences and symposia.

The journal has been granted financial support from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for the years 2019-2020.

 

Mission and vision

The journal's mission is to publish significant research which has important implications for sport sciences and medicine. Our goal is to disseminate knowledge, promote research and discourse. We constantly strive to enhance the quality of published papers, gain international reviewers and encourage authors from all over the world to submit their manuscripts. CEJSSM is consistently ranked as one of the most influential journals in Polandin the fields of physical culture, sports medicine and health promotion.
Our vision is for the journal to gain international visibility and constantly grow and expand. We aim to be recognized for excellence in disseminating knowledge and information on sport sciences and medicine. To this end, we will seek and encourage publications of works from all over the world, follow current research trend and promote the journal.

Central European Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine (CEJSSM) - History

Central European Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine is an open access scientific quarterly journal issued by the Faculty of Health and Physical Education of the University of Szczecin. CEJSSM is published only in English. The journal is a continuation of the Research Bulletin of the Institute of Physical Culture issued since 1990 in which at first the research of faculty employees was presented, and afterwards also the manuscripts from external scientific institutions.

Due to the dynamic development, the Journal received 5 points from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Thanks to the high level of scientific research presented in the Journal and the interest of foreign scientists whose manuscripts had been published in every issue of Central European Journal of Sport Sciences and Medicine, in 2015 the Journal was granted 12 ranking points by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and is included in List B of Classified Journals.

Today CEJSSM presents the latest scientific achievements in the fields of physical culture, sports medicine and health promotion from Poland, USA, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Romania, Germany, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, RPA, India, Iran and other countries.

Full versions of articles published in the journal are available at wnus.edu.pl without grace period or any technological barriers.
Articles are published on CC-BY-SA license and journal have not any article processing charges (APCs). Authors hold the copyright to their articles without restrictions.
