Abstract

The aim of this article is to present the dilemmas of selection of specific measures of HRM effectiveness. First, the introduction of various perspectives on the issue of measuring HRM effectiveness is presented. The level of analysis and the degree of proximity between the measures of effectiveness and HRM practices have been determined to be perspectives worth taking into consideration. The overview of literature presents the types of measures used in the research on HRM effectiveness. The article has been concluded with considerations regarding the possibilities of including additional measures in the HRM effectiveness measurement system.
