Abstract

There are different urban transport policy measures applied, aimed at attracting people to more sustainable transport means than a car. In this paper, the focus is on the role of rivalry and excludability, i.e. features of goods making up the urban transport systems (UTS), in creating the attractiveness of more sustainable forms of urban mobility. Literature studies and a comparative analysis allowed to present instruments aimed at sustainable urban mobility and their expected and potential effects.
