Reviewers of the Journal:
After the article has been submitted thematic editors make a preliminary assessment concerning its conformity with the topics of the issue and formal requirements (size, edition, citations, quality of its graphic elements, summary). If the opinion is positive, the article is sent to be reviewed.
Each publication is reviewed at least by two reviewers affiliated with outstanding Polish and foreign universities. In some cases of authors who are not affiliated with the Szczecin University, a reviewer may be a scholar from that university. Reviews are written in the system of double-blind review process (authors and reviewers do not know each other); reviews are in written form and include an unequivocal conclusion either to accept the publication or reject it (the reviewing form is to be found on the website).
If one of the reviews is positive and the other negative, the publication is sent to still another reviewer, whose opinion is final.
The authors whose articles have been rejected will be reimbursed any payments they made with the exception of the costs of the reviews.
