Abstract

Bringing the rules of the market economy after 1989, among Polish football clubs followed with delays. In 2005 the Professional Football League (Ekstraklasa joint-stock company) was constitutedand the gradual commercialization of some soccer companies have improved the situation. Unfortunately most football clubs in Poland have instable financial situation and have problems with financial liquidity and uses public subsidies. Further enhancing the potential of economic and sports of soccer enterprises will require long-term strategy and systematic work.
