Abstract

The article presents the essence of the multidimensional concept of quality of government, which The Quality of Government Institute at the University of Gothenburg moved to the regional level. Using 16 indicators of governance in the regions of Europe presented by the Institute, the quality of government in the Polish provinces in 2010 and 2013 has been assessed. In order to conduct a comparative analysis, aggregate measure vectors of the quality of government were constructed, separately for the three pillars, as well as overall measure. The results of the analysis indicate significant differences in the quality of government in the Polish regions (NUTS 2).
