Abstract

The article describes the Polish abortion enclaves and exclaves in reality and on the Internet (the concept of systems of culture of B. Sułkowski constitutes the theoretical framework). First of all, among the many types of abortion enclaves and abortion exclaves there are: ideological-political (pro and anti-abortion); institutional (organized around local, public and private institutions, associations); spatial (enclaves / exclaves, which only exist in the real world, only in the Internet, or in both the “worlds”); temporal (constant and transitory) and etc. It seems that ideology is the most important criterion for the formation of abortion enclaves and abortion exclaves. The pro and anti-abortion enclaves (forum “A” and “B” described in this article) are the most popular in the Internet. Abortion enclaves / exclaves are usually spaces for women and created by women (never men). Coexistence of men and women in the abortion enclaves is visible only in the “anti-abortion circles.”
