Abstract

Project activity is an integral part of the development of a market economy. Currently, under the consequence of the turbulent business environment, investment decisions are inextricably linked with risks. All investment decisions are based on an assessment of current and future conditions of their implementation and burdened with a greater or lesser degree of risk. The article presents the risk analysis method in evaluating the effectiveness of investment projects. It shows the relationship between investment decisions and the related risks and presents classification and a few key methods of risk analysis. This paper concludes with a practical project risk assessment example using sensitivity analysis in the company of the cosmetics branch.
