Abstract
Purpose – the aim of the study is to present the general appraisal of finance fluctuation and profitability
of three logistic companies and to compare them with average sector results. The study confirmed a good
financial situation of big public limited companies from logistic sector.
Findings – in 2014 presented companies showed a stability of financial condition. However, one of them had
a problem with financial overliquidity. The trend of profitability indicators was varied for all companies – the
first company improved its results a lot, the second company kept its profitability on the same value during
research period, and the third one had a negative tendency of profitability decline. But the last company still had
better financial results than average sector results.
Originality/value – research shows a good situation of public limited companies in logistic business
