Polski samorząd województwa po Traktacie Lizbońskim – analiza politologiczna i prawna

Abstract
The aim of the article is to describe the position and activities of polish voivodeship in the structure of Poland and European Union. Reform carried in Poland years 1997–1999 resulted in decentralized structure and quite independent regions, even in comparison to other EU countries. Voivodeships were beneficients of european integration’sprocess, mostly because of cohesion policy. Activity in order to promote economic equality between regions does not mean that regions are important actors in initiation and formulation of UE policies. Lisbon Treaty can be viewed as another small step in increasing regions’ role in the political system of European Union, but still EU is organisation of countries.
