Abstract
Within the last several decades the advancement of the methodology of measuring standards of living in the world has been tremendous. The use of objective and subjective, partial and synthetic indicators has become undisputed. Nonetheless, there is still a clear demand for new, supplementary tools of measurement. To this new group of tools belong, among others, biological and anthropometric measures of wellbeing. They show the advancement in many, so far unexplored by traditional tools of measure, areas of life (especially when it comes to health) while maintaining the objective measurement.
