Basic information

The journal "Studia Paradyskie" is an annual edited at the Institute of Theological Sciences of the University of Szczecin. The journal publishes texts in the field of theology, philosophy, canon law, as well as humanities and social sciences. These are both original scientific articles as well as polemics or reviews. The texts are published in Polish and in the languages of the congress. The Studia Paradyskie magazine is archived by the Polish National Library, and its publishing policy is deposited in Sherpa/Romeo.

"Studia Paradyskie" is included in the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences, announced by the Minister of Education and Science (09.02.2021).

Journal history

The scientific journal "Studia Paradyskie" was established in 1985 at the Major Seminary in Gościkowo-Paradyż (diocese of Zielona Góra-Gorzów), as a response to the needs of the local theological community. In the years 1999-2003, the seminary was affiliated to the Faculty of Theology of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. After the seminary was affiliated to the Faculty of Theology of the University of Szczecin, established in 2003, the SP magazine became one of the three magazines edited in this scientific unit. From 2022, the publisher of SP is the Scientific Publishing House of the University of Szczecin

Revenue sources, marketing and advertising

The publishing activity of the journal Studia Paradyskie is financed by the University of Szczecin and the journal does not require of the authors any publishing fees. The authors of the articles published in SP receive one free printed author’s copy of the issue in which their article was published. At the same time all published articles are available on the journal’s website, which is run by the University of Szczecin Press (Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu Szczecińskiego, WNUS), free of charge and without any technological barriers or paywalls in the online version of the journal.

The journal Studia Paradyskie does not use advertising and any forms of direct marketing activities are well targeted, unobtrusive and generally aimed at promoting scientific content published in the journal.

Full versions of articles published in the journal are available at wnus.edu.pl without grace period or any technological barriers.

Articles are published on CC-BY-SA license and journal have not any article processing charges (APCs).

Authors hold the copyright to their articles without restrictions.

The journal applies the following identifiers: DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for electronic documents and ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) for authors and contributors.
