Abstract

The aim of the study is the characteristic and assessment of networks of financial institutions in the context of the internationalization of financial markets. The paper consists of theoretical, methodological and empirical parts. The study used the method of multiple case study. The analyzes carried out show that building organizational networks vary in the degree of formalization and accepted range. Financial institutions involved in the processes of internationalization, while it takes the internationalization of both passive and active, which affects the scope of the process and adopted a model of internationalization in different companies from the sector. In terms pursued the path of internationalization draw up fundamental differences between large and small institutions on the market. These differences can be seen in both the motives guided the surveyed companies in the internationalization process, ways of entering foreign markets, resources used and the factors influence this process.
