Abstract

The aim of article is explain the level of technical infrastructure in the range of water – wastewater management in rural areas. In this study, the statistical material available from Local Data Bank GUS contained in the publications concerning rural areas in Poland and literature. The main objective of this paper is to analyze and evaluate the development of entrepreneurship in the district Płońsk between 2012–2014. The entrepreneurship indicator was determined by stating a number of economic entities registered in the REGON system per 10 thousands of people of working age. The paper aimed to analyze correlative relationship between technique infrastructure development and entrepreneurship indicators in rural areas in 2012–2014. The paper uses the analysis of Pearson’s correlation. As the study results show there is a slight dependency (r = 0.55) between the development of technique infrastructure and the development of entrepreneurship in rural areas.
