Abstract

Contrary to all the theories of internationalization, signifi cant percentage of companies such start-up, despite the lack of experience, young age and a wide variety of formal or legislative barriers, conquer successfully foreign markets. Some succeed spectacularly, others are not clearly noticed by the foreign customers. It’s caused by a number of identifi ed factors like well-developed business model, innovative product or service or a high level of intellectual capital. Not everything depends on the company itself. The fi nal result is also affected by the climate in which they must operate, including macroeconomic parameters, which often instead promoting innovative business entities, make it diffi cult or simply block it.
