Abstract

Building a strategic competitive advantage today depends not only on existing resources and competencies, but also the ability to cooperation with different market entities. This article aims at identifying sources of success of partnership cooperation between business and non-governmental organizations. To achieve the objective the authors run a systematic literature review and primary research. The research results show that the process of creating B2NGO relations should be very carefully planned, consciously developed in the long term and should be inspired by internal needs of cooperating partners. Together with the change of business managers’ attitude towards the cooperation with the third sector the constellation of factors contributing to the success of these partnerships will change.
