Abstract

The main subject of this article is the evolution of forms of access to the digital information goods in a society that has entered a phase of online, which means relatively constant access to the Internet. The goal of the article is to determine what changes brings increased popularity of the use of solutions such as streaming and Internet’s cloud. The research area of the considerations are such information goods as movies, music and e-books. The article also addresses the issues of sales strategy of digital information goods via the Internet, which are generally divided into one-time sale and subscription. In the article were use the case study method and secondary data on changes in the forms of distribution in the United States, which excels in innovation in the field of distribution of digital information goods.
