Rules concerning submitting articles

One author may submit only one article (it refers to co-authorship as well).

The articles sent to the Journal should be within the thematic range of the Bulletins:

  • current problems of transport and logistics;
  • problems of development of transport and logistics;
  • transport policy;
  • transport and logistics infrastructure;
  • problems of TSL service market;
  • supply chain management;
  • enterprise logistics;
  • innovations in transport and logistics;
  • quality management in transport and logistics;
  • transport and logistics versus sustainable development;
  • legal aspects of transport and logistics.

If authors want their articles to be reviewed they have to make a payment on time.

ONLY the article that are within the thematic range of the Journal and the ones prepared according to the editorial rules of the Scientific Publishing House of the Szczecin University will be accepted for review and publication.

The article will be published if it has received two positive reviews.

Editorial format

EDITORIAL RULES OF THE PUBLISHING HOUSE OF THE SZCZECIN UNIVERSITY

Maximum size of the article – 12 pages.

The article should be sent as a Word file.

In the text do not use (titles and subsections) UPPER CASE LETTERS or small capital letters.

A special attention should be paid to the place of the first and last names of the author(s) and their affiliation – according to the specimen.

The article should contain clearly separated parts: summary in Polish, keywords (3-5), introduction, chapters, subsections, ending (conclusions, résumé), title of the article in a foreign language together with the formula ‘Translated by...’, keywords in a foreign language – according to the specimen.

Summary (150-200 words) should be prepared according to the pattern: objective of the article, methodology of the analysis, results, conclusions.

At the end of the article there should be a bibliography – APA Style (according to the above-mentioned formula).

In case the article has already been written within a research project or statutory research or it is a (conference) paper, etc., appropriate information on the fact should be given in a note.

When texts are computer-edited the following rules should be observed:

  • font – Times New Roman;
  • line spacing – 1.5;
  • margins – 2.5 cm;
  • all the text – font 12 points; captions of pictures, tables, diagrams and the like should be TNR 10 points; bold and italic are allowed, underlining – is not;
  • tables and pictures (diagrams, etc.) should be prepared so as to be readable in black and white; maximum width – 12.5 cm, maximum height – 17 cm;
  • §  tables and pictures should be editable; if the pictures are in CorelDraw or Excel they should be sent both inside the text and separately as source files in the same program;
  • photos, resolution of 300 dpi; maximum width – 12.5 cm, maximum height – 17 cm;
  • scanned pictures, (linear) black-and-white diagrams, resolution of 600-1,200 dpi in *.tif or *.jpg formats;
  • illustrations, diagrams, pictures taken from the internet are not permitted;
  • formulae: the main text – 10 points, superscript/subscript – 7 points; formula maximum width – 12 points; all the typescript numbers in formulae and notations should be consequently in normal font, and variables – in italic.

 

Deadlines and payments

The fee for publication an article – 600 PLN.

Call for articles to the Bulletins that will be published in 2020 is underway:

  • for no 1 2020 (49);
  • for no 2 2020 (50).
