Problemy Transportu i Logistyki

The functioning of modern cities is inherent with the need to ensure efficient and effective public transport system that meets the needs of residents and creates favorable conditions for the development of the cities. Problems of transport services in the cities, in particular neighboring municipalities or remote settlements, was and in some cases still is, one of the major problems for its inhabitants – who are potential passengers. Low accessibility to public transport services (outskirts of towns and peripheral districts are characterize itself by a lower density of transport networks) and low frequency of public transport vehicles discourages residents of these areas. The possibility of including support for neighboring municipalities of public transport makes it possible to reduce the use of cars daily traveling and increases the availability of this form of movement. The article is an example of Dobra commune located in Western Pomerania showing how to use the bus lines that operate from the beginning of 2015 at the area of the commune covering by transport services villages being part of it.
