Abstract

The market of lifelong learning and social perception of this concept have been strongly affected by the large funding of training and other human capital projects by the European Social Fund between 2007 and 2013. As the end of the financial perspective draws close and negotiations concerning plans for 2014-2020 proceed, it is necessary to assess the effect of this effort. The paper presents results of an empirical study concerning a case study of the single project. We selected this project because we both worked at it. The paper compares monitoring results obtained during the EU-funded training and evaluation data submitted by the graduates 1-2 years after completion. The study shows benefits of such training and suggests directions of development of this sort of projects.
