Abstract
PhD studies is a relatively new stage of institutionalized education. Litera- ture concering this stage of education is still inconspicuous. The same applies to research activities which explore and explain the functioning of PhD students and PhD studies. In this article I make a personal and professional characteris- tics of refl ection in terms of PhD students, as well as present their views on PhD studies as an area of refl ection.
