Among the factors stimulating growth of Chinese enterprises’ efficiency and competitiveness, special attention should be given to agreements such as mergers and acquisitions, whose increase in pace and scale are an expression of growing international competitiveness of these enterprises.  For many companies mergers and acquisitions have become a quick way not only to maximize profit, but also to maximize the value of the company. Execution of agreements of this type enhances the potential of enterprises both in terms of technology and finances, as well as the company's infrastructure, which in turn increases the company's market value. The objective of the paper is to analyze the chosen examples of mergers and acquisitions performed by Chinese enterprises on European market.
