Wykorzystanie barometru stycznia i grudnia na przykładzie 88 spółek notowanych na GPW Warszawie

Abstrakt

Cel – Celem badania jest przeprowadzenie weryfikacji skuteczności stosowania tzw. barometru miesiąca (grudnia i stycznia) na przykładzie miesięcznych stóp zwrotu 88 cen akcji notowanych na GPW w Warszawie. Metoda badania – Metoda została zaproponowana przez Dzhabarova i Ziembę i opiera się na analizie zależności występujących między miesięcznymi stopami zwrotu w miesiącu grudniu (i styczniu) a skumulowaną miesięczną stopą zwrotu w ciągu 11 miesięcy następujących po nim. Zależność tę wyraża się za pomocą regresji liniowej. Analizę przeprowadzono dla arytmetycznych i logarytmicznych stóp zwrotu w miesiącu grudniu i styczniu w trzech grupach: dla wszystkich stop zwrotu (dodatnich, ujemnych i równych zero), dla dodatnich i równych zero miesięcznych stóp zwrotu i dla ujemnych miesięcznych stóp zwrotu. Wynik – Uzyskane wyniki wskazują na niską skuteczność tej metody na GPW w Warszawie poza przypadkami kilku spółek. Oryginalność/wartość – Jest to jedno z nielicznych znanych autorowi badań na rynku polskim.
