Abstract
Purpose – Analysis of the liabilities of the food companies, their changes, their structure and the forecast of the firm’s future.
Design/Methodology/approach – Dynamic analysis of the companies liabilities, and analysis their structure.
Findings – Generally food companies quoted in Warsaw Stock Exchange, increase their liabilities in the time. In the liabilities structure prevails own capital, but in the biggest firm prevail short term liabilities. Results of the analysis shows, that this companies should develop.
Originality/value – Investigation changes of the quantity and structure of the food companies liabilities. Forecast of this firms developing in the future.
