Abstract

Purpose – the main objective of the article has been settled as the recognition of the specificity of cooperative relations concluded by enterprises operating in Poland. Design/Methodology/approach – empirical studies have been conducted using an in-depth survey and a direct interview on the sample of 244 entities located in Poland. Findings – the article presents the diagnosis and assessment of the state and characteristic of inter-organizational cooperation in Poland. The number of suppliers and recipients with which the companies interact, as well as the level of cooperation stability and the degree of its formalization were analyzed in detail. Originality/value – the authors attempt through the prism of empirical studies to show the conditions of a low propensity for cooperation of enterprises operating in Poland.
