Abstract

The aim of this paper is to evaluate progress in WTO multilateral trade negiotions started in Doha in 2001. After over a decade of impass the two latest Ministerial Conferences – in Bali and in Nairobi brought about some results however limited to selected areas of Doha Development Agenda. Completing the round does not seem plausible at this time and it is necessary to look for better ways and new solutions to achieve progress in trade liberalization.
