Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify main tendencies in Poland’s foreign liabilities and an attempt to asses an influence of foreign financing of economy on the external balance of the country. The study consists of three parts. The first part describes the amounts, dynamics and the structure of foreign liabilities, the following part describes indicators used in an assessment of external imbalance, and the last part contains verification of the value of these indicators. The research results shows that, in the short time there is no significant risk for Poland’s external balance
