Abstract
The paper presents some aspects of digital asset management in the organization on the basis of IT tools and technologies. Structure of the new digital asset management system was proposed. A characteristic feature of the proposed solutions is their focus on the integration of available software tools and IT technologies and their orientation and functioning in cyberspace. The starting point to propose a new digital asset management system are problems in management of digital information that is provided as an collection digital resources of Baltic museums, which were the subject of research in the context of projects BalticMuseums 2.0 and 2.0+
