Abstract

The development of information technology has led, among others, to widespread digitization of books. Beside printed books, the new forms are commonly available: audiobooks and e-books. The article presents the results of the survey on the popularity of book reading forms in comparable groups of students from four countries: the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland and Turkey, as well as an attempt to explain the causes of observed differences.
