Abstract

Tourist attractions are important sector of tourism that stimulate interest of travel to destination and are also the main component of the tourism product. The article includes results of research on attendance in all sorts of attractions in Poland implemented in 2014 and 2015. Article is pointing out ways of getting information, problems with their acquisition from the administrators of tourist attractions and the method of estimating the size of the tourist traffic adequate to the proposed typologies. In conclusion recommendations were formulated for further research of attendance in tourist attractions.
