Abstract

The main content of the article concerns the show of faith in the man’s approach to the reality of death. Dying is inscribed in human existence. And although it is a natural consequence of the passing of a man is a fundamental task, especially doctors, to care for his life. The deepest dimension becomes therapy. Which limits of the therapy can be used to form it adopted not persistent? And that in this respect the role to be played by faith? Faith, being a personal encounter with God that makes it able to look at his life on earth in terms of religious. And with that he takes a plane capabilities, the rational course of discernment, to make a decision – an example of John Paul II at the time of his death – as a further course of treatment, or omission. And here is revealed essential value of faith, which is expressed in the fact that the dying person is able to put the boundaries of therapy that it takes no persistent character.
