Abstract

Showing solidarity and mercy, as obligatory for everyone, everywhere and every time, with all respect for personal choices and beliefs (because solidarity and mercy mean liberation from violence) is the most important duty. The Polish experience of solidarity allows us to understand the importance of maintaining radical justice in showing and opening ourselves to mercy. Lack of radical justice makes mercy unsuccessful, and also makes solidarity an extremely troublesome experience.
