Abstract

In this article are studied conceptual metaphors in texts of modern songs located on the top positions of music Charts 2015 in Germany, Poland and Russia. The material includes six authentic lyrics in four languages: English, German, Polish and Russian. The aim of the article is an analysis of conceptual metaphors in these songs according to the theory of Lakoff and Johnson.
